Hello Weekend! I’m excited for a weekend of vending, dancing and seeing friends. I’ve been indoors a little too much this week 😅. I’m still trying to achieve work-life balance. It’s difficult, but I’m hoping it’ll be more 60/40 than 90/10 one day soon. #worklifebalance #artistlife #illustratorn
These cards (and more!) will be available this weekend at #artistsandfleas and Astoria Market. They are also available in my shop!
Sometimes I daydream about living in a treehouse and look at AirBnB for treehouse getaways (but then I realize my imaginary treehouses are a lot less expensive!).
I’ve never done a TBT before so why not today! Here is an illustration I created a couple years ago. Birthday parties are about the same for animals as they are for us ;) — some animals are invited, some sneak in, and some stand in the background wishing they were there (poor bear).
Holiday cards available on my Puffed Sleeves Etsy shop!
Exterior: You Make the Holidays Brighter
Interior: Merry Christmas My Dear
Here is the card I was working on a couple weeks ago in color. And another silly and fun birthday card. I fell a little behind schedule but I hope these (with some other new cards) will be up in my etsy shop in a couple of weeks!
I’ve been working on a few new cards for Puffed Sleeves. There will be 3 new wedding and 3 new birthday cards appearing in the collection in the next few weeks. Here is a drawing of one. It’s Deirdre and Darius as wedding cake toppers!
Here’s is a new piece I finally added color to! I’m trying to plump up my children’s book illustration portfolio in the next couple of months.
This card has a nod to Breakfast at Tiffany’s with Audrey Hepburn as a deer . Valentine’s Day card up on Etsy shop and www.puffedsleeves.net!
It’s the scene in Breakfast at Tiffany’s when they steal the cat and dog masks :).
My new Valentine’s Day cards will be on my website and etsy page to purchase in the next couple of days!
It’s a woodland birthday party! New piece I’ve been working on these past couple of days during the snowy and cold weather. I gladly welcomed 40 degree weather today :).
Working on some Valentine Day cards. Here is the beginning of one – Deidre and Darius :).
Over the last couple weeks I’ve been trying to add a few holiday cards to my collection. I”m hoping to do at least one holiday fair. Here’s a card I’ve been working one – Deirdre and Darius tangled in Christmas lights.
Only a few days left to the National Stationery Show. Over the last few months, I’ve been busy preparing and am so close to having everything complete!
Can’t wait. Here are some paper dolls I put together last night. Will be selling them on my website and on etsy soon!
As of today, this blog is ONE YEAR OLD!
Thanks for all of your support and kind words along the way!
(p.s. below is one of my cards that will be printed in the near future. It’s Deirdre the Deer and all of her friends)
