Hope you had a good weekend and maybe went to a fair like these bears did. This is a portfolio piece from a few year ago. I see many ways I would draw it differently now but wouldn’t change the Panda’s face one bit!

Honeymoon Bears

Finished up this project.  Two more to tackle within the next week an a half!

Surf’s Up!

These little bears are ready to surf on their honeymoon!  I’ve been working on this honeymoon/wedding send-off card for the sister of a client.  It’s been a fun and surprisingly “easy” project.  Easy because the imagery my client requested is so in line with my artistic style.  Can’t wait to deliver the finished project.

Bear Fair – last illustration of this set

I finished adding color to this one faster than I thought I would!  I think this shall be the last of the bear fair series.  I think the first one and this one has come together the best.  Although this one’s coloring doesn’t match the previous two pieces’ subdued tones –  I may have to do some tweaking to make them seem as though they belong to one another.

Bears on a Roller Coaster!

I finally added color!  I had so much fun working with this particular piece.  I’m trying to be more aware of my backgrounds/environments when drawing.  So I felt like I pushed myself a little more with this one and I’m liking how it turned out!  I’m excited to work on the next Bear Fair pic :).

Beginnings of Bear Fair

Here is a line drawing of Bear Fair.  I can’t wait to add color!  I enjoyed drawing this one so much I think I want to do a couple more Bear Fair images.  These could possibly be additions to Puffed Sleeves print collection.

I find that I think better when I am doodling.  So many times when leaving work at the library, there are several post-its with little images below floating on my desk.
