Billy Buck the Grumpy Goat

Puffed Sleeves started with drawings of a grumpy goat named Billy Buck. After graduating, I was drawing and doodling between booking freelance motion graphics jobs. I realized that I adored illustration more than any other project I was doing. Billy Buck the Goat cards were always a little kooky with underwhelmed greetings. My designs became a lot sweeter as I sculpted my branding for Puffed Sleeves, but I’m glad that silliness and quirkiness have reappeared in my recent card designs.

Brooklyn Flea fun!

It was my second time at Brooklyn flea this past weekend.  It was hot (so so hot) but I had a wonderful time meeting customers and talking to other vendors!  It was a great start to a lovely Memorial Day Weekend :).

The Brass Owl – Puffed Sleeves cards in Astoria!

It has been a couple years since I have dedicated time to retail.  Since beginning life as a full-time illustrator a few months ago, I have been focusing on this aspect of my career.  I’m really quite excited to say that my Puffed Sleeves cards are now in The Brass Owl located in Astoria (Queens, New York)!!  The boutique is lovely.  It has a selection of jewelry, shoes, cards and other adorable items to please anyone.   Nicole opened the shop a couple years ago and is doing a wonderful job of adding this beautiful shop (with evening activities) to the neighborhood.  If you live nearby or are in the neighborhood, check it out!
