Piece of my room

Bought some flowers yesterday. Although it is cold and snowy outside, these flowers on my wardrobe make my room feel warm and sunny!

Jazz Age

A weekend or so ago my friends and I went to a Jazz Age soiree. Dress code included the 1920s to the 1940s. It was so much fun dressing up, learning bits of the East Coast Swing and admiring everyone’s costumes. I must return to this event again!

Northeast Blizzard

Due to the blizzard Nemo, I spent most of my day inside yesterday drawing, watching movies, and being happily lazy. But, I did snap a few pictures from my window and from my door step. It wasn’t too bad outside, but used the snow as an excuse to get some artwork completed :).

I purchased some new glasses today and thus far I am loving them :).

It was so beautiful and sunny today for January. Much better weather than last week. I went to the park to walk around, collect my thoughts, and read with the bright sun beaming on me. My clothes were pretty bright today too :).

Christmastime and NYE and NYC

Here are a few pictures from Christmas time and New Year’s Eve in NYC. This was the first year since I’ve been in New York that I’ve gone to Time Square for New Year’s Eve. It was quite a process but my friend and I had fun! We didn’t go out until 8ish so we weren’t very close (on 55th street) but could still see the ball drop (it was pretty tiny though, haha).

More pictures from my trip back home! While riding around the car with my brother and mom I took pictures of the landscape in East Texas. We even had a bit of snow. I was hoping for 60 degree weather the whole week, oh well!

Apples and Pumpkins

A few friends and I went upstate to Wilkens Farm to do some apple picking yesterday! Well, all the apples had been picked but that didn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves. We explored the farm while having apple baked goods and hot cider. Had a great time :).
